The Farm Girl’s Engagement Photos: Boots, Bling & Buttercups

Last weekend, Aaron and I headed out to his uncle’s hunting farm to shoot our engagement photos.

I had only been to this farm during deer hunting season, so when Aaron told me there was an entire field of buttercups I didn’t believe him.

So I packed up my boots, big jewelry, bling belts and Aaron’s favorite button-ups and we headed out to the farm.

He wasn’t kidding! It was a beautiful place to shoot photos!

As a photographer, I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.

Aaron’s sister, Audrey, volunteered to shoot the photos so that Aaron and I would be able to relax and just have fun.

Obviously, Aaron didn’t have any trouble with the having fun part.

After two hours of shooting and posing with everything from college t-shirts to Aaron’s beloved pickup truck, we captured some beautiful photos and had way too much fun along the way.
