National Pork Month Harned’s Drive-In Hot Sauce Giveaway!

To say my world revolves around pork would be an understatement.

The only place you can get Harned's Hot Sauce is at Harned's Drive-In. Unless you win it in my giveaway!

I grew up on a family show pig farm and married into a 4th generation family pork bar-b-q restaurant.

Needless to say, pork month is something to celebrate in our world!

I’ve got lots of exciting pork themed posts coming up this month: recipes, photos, stories and giveaways!

This week, I’m giving away a bottle of Harned’s Drive-In Hot Sauce!

Harned’s Drive-In has used the same “secret recipe” sauce since they opened in 1955.

Its such a secret that only Aaron and his uncles know the recipe!

Harned’s hot sauce is only sold at Harned’s Drive-In. In order to get your hands on a bottle, you either have to take a road trip to Paducah, Ky. or win it in this giveaway!

To enter, simply leave your answer to this question in a comment on this post:

What is your favorite pork cut or dish?

Entries will be accepted until midnight, central standard time on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Using a random-number generator, I will select one winner and announce it Tuesday.

Thanks in advance for participating!

National Pork Month Harned’s Drive-In Hot Sauce Giveaway! — 22 Comments

  1. Would love to have a bottle of the sauce. Heard it is really good. Enjoy reading your posts.

  2. I’m a sucker for pork ribs, although a juicy porkchop is a very, very close second. I can remember ribs being one of my favorite dishes from the time I was old enough to pick them up (and get sauce all over myself)!

  3. I love Southern pulled pork, with sweet, molasses/ketchup based sauce! Especially with some mac and cheese on the side :)

  4. Favorite pork cut? BACON! However other than organs, I just don’t do them, there isn’t a cut I don’t like! Ok, pickled pigs feet gross me out and I have never tried jowl. But chops, loin, steak, ham, roast, love them all! My favorite pork recipe to make is pan fried tenderloin with a white wine, caper and kalamata olive sauce. My favorite meal ever is my Grandma’s spare ribs, smothered in her homemade sauce. I would love to try yours!

    Bottom line. I <3 Pork!

  5. Such a dilemma…I’d say pork tenderloin because it has SO many possibilities! Chops (cooked any number of ways), roast, pulled pork – all winners!

  6. Being a former member of the “Fatboys”, I am well versed in Pork consumption……sooooo my favorite cut has got to be BBQ ribs followed closely by country ham.

  7. I love pork! Sausage is prob my favorite but I also love a good pork chop or pulled pork sandwich

  8. While I love pork… our latest addiction is something called ham jerky – it is honey sweet, a little salty with a little pepper for kick – Smoked to perfection.

  9. Pork tenderloin is my favorite but I have never found a cut of pork I didn’t like….

  10. Baby back pork ribs injected with Harned’s BBQ sauce (thinned with a little melted butter) and rubbed with an Uncle Ronnie’s homemade dry rub then slow-grilled is our absolute favorite pork recipe! Morgan says her PawPaw’s ribs are the best in the world!

  11. As much as I love a food pork chop I am going to have to take a little different angle for this contest than the other answers I see here. My favorite pork dish is Pork Lo Mein ;)

  12. That would be club(chicken and bacon) stuffed pork chops. (I’ll give you the recipe if I win.) Smothered in cheddar bacon gravy. Yes, I said cheddar bacon gravy.

  13. I spent a couple of minutes studying and assessing the facts.
Everything is clear and understandable. This one is of this
sort. Moreover, I enjoy how the author organized his thoughts
in addition to the visual component.
